



Swordtail
The Swordtail (Xiphophorus helleri) is a livebearing and diverse fish native to Central America. These fish are popular for their hardy nature, as well as their vast array of colour. Swordtails are easy to breed, and will give birth to live fry.

Maximum Fish Size: up to 5.5 inches
Water Temperature: 70F to 82F
Ideal pH: 7.0 - 8.5
Water Hardness: 15 - 35 dGH
Temperament: Docile to Semi-Aggressive livebearer. Males and females will breed readily. Males known to be more aggressive than females. Known to jump.
