Platy

The Platy (Xiphophorus maculatus) is a livebearing and diverse fish native to Central America. These fish are popular for their hardy and docile nature, as well as their vast array of colour. Platy are easy to breed, and will give birth to live fry. 

Minimum Tank Size: 10 Gallons

Maximum Fish Size: 1.5 inches

Water Temperature: 70F to 82F

Ideal pH: 6.5 - 8.5

Water Hardness: 10 - 20 dGH

Temperament: Docile livebearer. Males and females will breed readily. Prefers to be kept in groups.
