GloFish Pristella Tetra - Assorted Colours

The Pristella Tetra (Pristella maxillaris), also called the X-Ray tetra, is a smaller species of tetra native to South America. While these fish are generally silver, the "Glo" varieties are available in fluorescent colours such as green, yellow, pink, purple, and blue. These fish are NOT dyed, injected, or "painted"; their colour does not effect their lifespan or quality of life.

Maximum Fish Size: 1.5 inches 

Water Temperature: 64°F to 82°F

Ideal pH: 6.0 to 8.5

Water Hardness: 1 - 30 dGH

Temperament: Peaceful schooling fish species.
